Singapore Night Safari is a wildlife park’s first and only one in the world that are designed to allow view of the animals at night. Singapore Night Safari houses approximately 1,000 animals of 120 species, all nocturnal creatures, and they are quite active when the guests are at home. Night Safari is 40 hectares, about 100 hectares, twice as big as Singapore Zoo. Night Safari zoo is an open set in humid-tropical forest settings that are divided into eight geographical zones. Travel
Begin your journey of about an hour before sunset and save a few bucks on the way there by taking the MRT (Singapore Rapid Transit trains) to Ang Mo Kio Station (about 30 minute train ride from say, Orchard Road). In Hawker’s Centre, you will find one of Singapore’s best dishes, Laksa (noodles curry-based dishes, usually adorned with shrimp), Hainanese Chicken White Carrot Cake, and other local and wash down with Tiger Beer, or other local beverages. Remember to buy a few bottles of water to carry with you. You’ll find food and drink stand in the park, once you have eaten and are satisfied, you can make your way back to Ang Mo Kio Station and look for bus number 138 which will take you to the SNS.
When you buy your ticket, you will pay S $ 20.00 to enter the park and S $ 8.00 to ride the tram which takes 45 minutes, however, to S $ 40.00 (Adult), S $ 20.00 (child .) You can buy multi-park ticket (Special car park), which includes the Zoo, Bird Park and Night Safari. This is valid for 30 days, and not including the Tram Ride.
About Safari Night:
Garden design is really brilliant, from the main lamp is used which provides sufficient illumination to enable the view of wildlife and not disturb the behavior of animals, to provide sufficient lighting that allows you to move in a safe manner. This appendix is designed to closely mimic the natural habitat of animals, and not confined, like most world zoos, open-air exhibition, similar to the concept of winning Singapore Zoo. Animals and visitors are separated by natural hidden obstacles, such as ditches and bushes. Only the agile big cats behind the glass cage.
