Ski resorts are the dream destination for many. One of the best undiscovered ski resorts has to be Andorra. There are still so many people, even the most eager skiers, who are completely unaware of this ski resort and who are sure to have an interest once they start to learn more about it.

At first or at least to those who are aware of it, Andorra is all about skiing and shopping. There is certainly more than enough of both of these offered in the area. There are high end shops that offer glamorous garments and there are more than enough hills to go downhill skiing on. But people should be aware that there is much more to it than that.
The official language spoken here is Catalan, and so if you are planning to do some traveling here yourself, you are going to be much better off if you take a bit of time before leaving to study the language, at least so you can be aware of the basics and know how to ask if you need to find a restaurant because you are hungry or need to know where the nearest restroom is.
There are some delightful restaurants for one thing, in the resort and out. The food is exquisite and is actually one of the features of Andorra that keeps people coming back for more. In the last few years in particular the inhabitants of Andorra have opened up even more restaurants and so if you have traveled there before but maybe not in the past few years, it is definitely time to go back.
Now you also want to take into consideration that there has recently been millions of dollars spent on mountain cafes, restaurants and car parks as well as snow making machines. This is in response to the tourism increasing, as more and more people are becoming aware of this ski resort and who are heading there to take it in firsthand and see what it is all about.
There is a great walking abundance as well. So if you love being out in Mother Nature and going on walks then you are going to have a great time in Andorra. You can take an easy stroll hand in hand with that special someone, or maybe just take the dog around the block and enjoy the scenery. There are some great sights in Andorra and you are going to wonder why you never came here before.
One of the downfalls to Andorra right now if there had to be any, would be that there are a lot of construction that are presently going on. Of course this is again in response to the demand of tourists who are traveling here more often than ever before. Laborers are working hard to make sure that there are enough housing and lodgings for people who are traveling in from other areas. They want to make sure that tourists are going to feel not like guests but like they are right at home.
Of course now that more people are aware of Andorra and all that it has to offer, business is sure to pick up and the crowds will be more. Andorra is a gorgeous place to visit and offers a fabulous ski resort that is a thrill ride.
It is still an absolutely beautiful place, and with all the different attractions to take in and sights to see, you are not going to want to forget your camera that is for sure. It is one of the most beautiful places in all of Europe.
